Engine Company Operations
This class begins with a review of the mission, and the eight points of engine company operations. Students will then look at 25 pointers for efficient fire attack operations as well as review other important points of attack hardware and techniques. The philosophy of this program is aggressive firefighting.
Jeff served over 38 years as a career firefighter. He retired from the Cleveland (OH) Fire Dept in 2011. He served as a division chief for a short time with the city of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. fire-rescue dept. He has also served as volunteer firefighter. He is an Ohio certified fire instructor and worked as a Field Training Officer (FTO) for the Ohio Fire Academy for 24 years. He teaches Engine Co.Operations and firefighting strategies and tactics across the country. He has been a classroom presenter and a hands on training instructor for FDIC and FIREHOUSE conferences. He holds a degree in Fire Technology and attended the University of Cincinnati Fire Protection Engineering program.
